Welcome to the Disneyland® Resort Show Your Character Community Outreach Program!
Walt Disney once said “The Greatest moments in life are not concerned with selfish achievement but rather with the things we do for the people in need.”
The Disneyland® Resort feels it is important to keep Walt’s vision in mind as we look into the future. To honor Walt’s legacy, we are pleased to present the Disneyland® Resort Show Your Character Community Outreach Program for nonprofit organizations and high school students in Orange County.
This program is an initiative designed to unite motivated students from Orange County High Schools with nonprofit organizations in an effort to shape and strengthen the community with a focus on improving the lives of children.
This program will sponsor 25 Service-learning projects, assisting students as they strive to improve our local community.
These initiatives will enhance the lives of thousands in Orange County through a comprehensive community service program that also supports high school sophomores and juniors in successfully completing Service-learning projects targeted at fulfilling California’s Character education elements.
Participating nonprofit organizations, teachers and students will also be eligible for performance awards and scholarships to enhance their growth and development for years to come!
